Whether you're seeking a rural retreat or an urban adventure, our Bed and Breakfast is perfectly located to provide the alternative home away from home. From its humble origins as coachouse and stable block, it was converted to a detached house which later served as the rectory for Bath Abbey. Recently upgraded, Abbey Rectory has three guest rooms, situated on the first floor. Each room is individually furnished with en-suite facilities. Indulge yourself in Beautiful marble granite and ceramic en-suites with under floor heating. Full size bath (Crescent room) or rainshowers, with soft linen and bathrobes to complement.Three exclusive rooms enable us to provide our guests with an attentive, personal service and every care has been taken to ensure that you have the most comfortable stay possible. The edge of centre location makes it well placed for the historic city centre attractions, shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and nightlife. It also provides good access to the rural green areas which immediately surround Bath. The City is a pleasant walk via the A36 to Sydney Gardens and the Holbourne museum (10 minutes): Great Pulteney street lies before you. - The heart of the roman city is a further 10 minute stroll. The Kennet and Avon canal and the river are a 5 minute field walk below Abbey Rectory and the A36. It offers the rural alternative: Walk or cycle along the tow path: westward into the city, or eastward into the village of Bathampton, or continue onward to Avoncliffe (viaductaqueduct); Bradford On Avon (5 miles), and beyond. Unrestricted free parking provides peace of mind and takes the hassle out of city parking. -Please note: Children of 6-15 years are welcome. however, a supplement of £20 night applies. It is not included in the room rate displayed and is paid separately on departure.

Abbey Rectory is situated 1 mile east of the city centre, Trossachs Drive is just off the A36. Follow Trossachs drive up and around to the left continue forward approximately 30 metres, we are on the left.
